And spend in the Cause of Allah and do not throw yourselves into destruction (by not spending your wealth in the Cause of Allah), and do good. Truly, Allah loves Al-Muhsinun (the good-doers). [Surah Al-Baqarah 2:195]
To be a good doer, you preform good deeds without expecting any praise, but from Allah Subhana Wa Ta’ala alone. By worshipping Allah in the greatest way possible, you attain the highest rank of Paradise, which is better than any fame or achievement you can recieve on Earth. He rewards the doers of good in a great way.
Surely, Allah wastes not the reward of the Muhsinun. [Surah At-Tawbah 9:120]

Subhan’Allah even in the action of turning away from Allah (swt), there’s still a direct route straight back to him. Truly my Lord is the Most Merciful. Allahu Akbar!
